“Thank you for 26 years of absolute happiness. Yes, even for the last three years of happiness. I don't know how to live without you,” reads a fragment of Yulia Navalnaya's farewell to her husband.

Alexei Navalny's funeral took place on March 1. Vladimir Putin's political enemy was buried at the Borisovsky cemetery in Moscow. Only Navalny's mother, relatives and close friends attended the funeral ceremony at the Church of the Icon of Our Lady “Quench My Sorrows” in the Marjino district. Yulia Navalnaya and her two children were unable to attend the funeral. The woman is currently abroad.

Funeral of Alexei Navalny. His wife published a farewell

Navalny's wife published a touching post on social media. “Liosha (diminutive of Alexei – ed.), thank you for 26 years of absolute happiness. Yes, even for the last three years of happiness. For love, for always supporting me, for making me laugh even in prison, for always thinking about me,” reads the beginning of Yulia Navalnaya's entry.

“I don't know how to live without you, but I will try to do everything in my power to make you happy and proud of me up there. I don't know if I will succeed or not, but I will try. I'm sure we will meet one day. “I have so many stories to tell you and so many songs saved on my phone, stupid, funny and overall, honestly terrible songs, but they are about us and I wanted so badly to let you listen to them,” the next excerpt reads.
