Shocking words from Michał Probierz. This is how he commented on the draw with Moldova

Michał Probierz surprisingly explained the draw with Moldova. The coach of the Polish national team pointed out why they failed to win. He drew attention to an important matter.

A draw between Poland and Moldova can mean two things. The first – the need to win over the Czech Republic and count on a favorable arrangement of other matches, the second – play in the play-offs to advance to the Euro. The Poles did not take advantage of the opportunity and although at the end of the match at the PGE National Stadium they were the dominant side, they did not manage to tip the scales of victory in their favor. Michał Probierz drew several conclusions during the match, and one of them was particularly surprising.

Michał Probierz summarized the match against Moldova

Moldova scored four points in two matches against Poland. This is unacceptable for Wisła fans, especially if we take into account the fact that their rivals are in 159th place in the FIFA ranking, i.e. behind Andorra, but you can’t turn back time. The rivals looked good from the beginning of the match at the PGE Narodowy, scoring several corners, and one of them was converted by Ion Nicolaescu, the same player who scored two goals for the White and Reds in Chisinau. Karol Świderski scored the tie-breaking goal. Michał Probierz approached this result calmly.

— We didn’t take advantage of the opportunity. This is our problem. It was obvious that the players were a bit nervous from the beginning of the match and were too nervous to create chances. We knew everything about Moldova and it turned out to be true. It’s even more a pity that we couldn’t take advantage of one of the many opportunities we had and score a second goal – said the coach in front of the TVP Sport camera.

“We are not losing the qualifying round with this match”

In turn, during the press conference, Michał Probierz said directly that he is not a miracle worker and many things will have to wait. He pointed out that it was not his fault that Poles had such results and not others. He scored four points in two games.

– I feel unsatisfied. I understand the disappointment, but I’m not a miracle worker. Some elements cannot be achieved without training. We are not losing the qualifying round with this match, the coach noted.
