The Polish national team advanced to EURO 2024. Probierz's team's play-offs could not be watched on Polsat TV. The station no longer has the rights to broadcast staff meetings.

After great and dramatic struggles, the Polish national team was the last team to qualify for EURO 2024. After no automatic qualification, the Polish national team had to first defeat the Estonia team (5:1) and then Wales. In the last case, successful penalty kicks and some intervention by Wojciech Szczęsny were needed to be lucky.

Polsat no longer shows matches of Michał Probierz's team

The coach of the Polish national team has no time to rest. After arriving in the country, he had a lot of media duties waiting for him. He will soon have to go to Germany to, together with the delegates of the Polish Football Association, choose the team's base for the June tournament. According to media reports, Potsdam and Bremen are considered, although the first location has a slight advantage.

Fans can expect many football broadcasts in June. For years, the football team's matches were broadcast in Poland on two stations – TVP and Polsat. Depending on which television had the rights, the other one had a sublicense to broadcast the White-Red clashes. It is worth emphasizing that it is legally required to show matches of the national football team on open television.

However, as press.pl informed, Polsat no longer has a sublicense to show national team matches. The website also received confirmation from the station's press office, which informed that the rights expired at the end of last year. “During the European Championship play-offs, we broadcast matches other than those involving the Polish national team. Our sublicense with Telewizja Polska expired at the end of 2023. – Polsat reported.

The championship title from three years ago (the tournament took place a year later due to the coronavirus pandemic) is defended by the Italians.
