The Science series is a Polish specialty. Great figures of Polish science” begins with a month dedicated to young scientists and their achievements, as well as the activities of Polish universities. We also present programs and grants that help young scientists in their research.

In January, we will deal with the extraordinary research of Polish archaeologists and learn about modern methods used in archaeology, which is no longer a stereotypical “digging in the ground”. However, not only Polish archaeologists conduct amazing research in various parts of the world. We will deal with historical and contemporary researchers of the farthest corners of the globe, including underwater caves, volcanoes and glaciers in February.

In the following months, we will take a closer look at the modern ways of popularizing science in the era of the Internet and social media, the most interesting and extraordinary scientists in Polish history, as well as Polish scientists who had a huge impact on the world and their discoveries benefited humanity. We will also deal with the issue of money in science, science in the context of new technologies, architecture of the future, Polish participation in space exploration, medicine for the 21st century, and science and modern technologies in the context of the Polish energy transformation.
