Orange responds to the coronavirus. It provides free Internet and decoded TV

Due to the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus pandemic and recommendations to stay at home, Orange has decided to make a 10 GB mobile internet package available to all its customers. Channels for Orange TV cable TV owners have also been decoded.

So far, only 58 people have been infected with the coronavirus in Poland. However, data coming from around the world tells us to expect the worst and take reasonable actions now to stop the spread of the pandemic. Some of the basic recommendations are to avoid large groups of people or even meet other people as rarely as possible. This naturally means that we will spend more time at home in the coming weeks and months. Orange rightly expects that making this time more enjoyable for its customers will be positively received.

From March 13, subscribers and holders of prepaid cards from the Orange offer will be able to receive an additional 10 GB of internet data, which will be valid until March 31. They activate them via an SMS message with the content “10 GB” sent to the number 80820. However, the Orange Polska spokesman said that the unique service “due to technical reasons” will not cover owners of Orange Flex and nju services. He assured that the company is working on other possibilities for “Flex”.

By the end of the month, Orange will also decode 40 channels of the Comfort Package for all Orange TV cable customers. Additionally, the company introduces free courier delivery of telecommunications contracts.
