Włodzimierz Cimoszewicz, on his way to Warsaw, saw an abandoned dog in the forest. “He will probably end up in Białowieża. I have six, there will be a seventh,” commented the former prime minister.

“Pet. He squeaks when stroked. While driving through Warsaw, he watched everything carefully. He barked at the guy on the bike and the nun. Strange,” the former prime minister reported in another entry. “I had a conference about the EU, but the dog had already been to the vet. It turns out that he is her. 3-year-old female without a chip. Lots of ticks. Because she is a Jack Russell mix, she was originally named Jackie. “Tomorrow a bath, in a few days vaccinations,” Cimoszewicz continued.

“After returning from the vet, the friendship is like between good friends,” the MEP wrote in his last post. Cimoszewicz will run in the European Parliament elections from the first place on the Left list from constituency no. 13, covering the province. Lubusz and West Pomeranian Voivodeships.
This is not the first time politicians have adopted animals during campaigns. A similar situation happened to the Civic Coalition and Donald Tusk during their visit to Rzeszów in October 2023. A cat was adopted then and was named “Rudy”. – We'll go to the vet, to the salon, we'll take care of it.
