Is Czarzasty a good leader of the Left? Nowicka's complicated answer
When asked whether Włodzimierz Czarzasty is a good leader of the Left, Wanda Nowicka did not answer clearly. – I am convinced that sooner or later there will be changes undertaken in a democratic way – she said.
The topic of “Breakfast at Trójka” was post-election settlements, including: poor result of the Left in the elections to the European Parliament. In the European Parliament elections, the Left obtained 6.3 percent. support, which resulted in winning only three seats. Wanda Nowicka said that the party was facing a deep analysis.
The host asked Wanda Nowicka whether Włodzimierz Czarzasty is a good boss.

– This is not a question that can be answered just like that – Nowicka replied. She added that the management will be decided by statutory bodies. – I am convinced that personnel decisions made by the party in a democratic manner will be made sooner rather than later. I would really like to have women in the top leadership, it would make us credible in the eyes of the electorate, said Wanda Nowicka.
Błażej Poboży, advisor to President Andrzej Duda, said that Donald Tusk made a “skilful maneuver” of cannibalizing the Left and taking over its program demands. Wanda Nowicka said that in the European Parliament “it's not the quantity that counts, not the quality”, and the Left MEPs have been visible so far.
The Left's result did not go unnoticed by former Prime Minister Leszek Miller. “It must be admitted that Włodzimierz Czarzasty and Robert Biedroń masterfully implemented the plan to place three MPs in the European Parliament: Joanna Scheuring-Wielgus, Krzysztof Śmiszek and Robert Biedroń,” he wrote on the X website (formerly Twitter – ed.).
In an interview with RMF FM, Włodzimierz Czarzasty was asked whether he was considering stepping down as co-chairman of the Left.
— Every decision is possible. We will gather the Management Board, the National Council. I allow every decision to be made emotionally in my head. If there is such a need, if we think it over, if there is such a decision – there will be no fight on this matter – he said. He added that research that will provide answers to the poor result in the elections may be done in September, when people return from holidays.
