The Ministry of National Defense sent a plane to Israel to pick up Polish tourists. A Pole a hostage of Hamas?
Polish tourists from Israel will be evacuated by military Hercules. One of the Hamas hostages is said to be Alex Dancyg – a historian, collaborator of Yad Vashem, participant of the Polish-Israeli dialogue, Pole and Israeli. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs did not comment on this matter.
“Military Hercules flew to Israel to evacuate our compatriots. We will be there as long as the situation requires. The best Polish pilots take part in Operation Neon. The special forces medical team is also on standby,” wrote Mariusz Błaszczak on social media. The head of the Ministry of National Defense previously informed that about 200 tourists in Israel are waiting to return to Poland.
Poles stuck in Israel

The head of the National Security Council, Jacek Siewiera, announced that he had talked to the chairman of the National Security Council of Israel, Tsachi Hanegb. One of the topics was the issue of the planned evacuation of Polish citizens in the coming hours. “In the coming time, we will be in constant contact with the Israeli side,” assured the head of the National Security Bureau.
A Pole a hostage of Hamas?
