The data of over a million users of the Chinese shopping platform was leaked
If you placed orders on the Chinese shopping platform pandabuy.com, there is a risk that your data was intercepted by criminals. The President of the Personal Data Protection Office notified the prosecutor's office in this matter.
The Wirtualne Media website informs that a notification of suspicion of committing a crime by the perpetrators of publishing data of Polish customers of the pandabuy.com sales platform was submitted by the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, Mirosław Wróblewski, on April 29. It was sent to the Warsaw Śródmieście-Północ District Prosecutor's Office.
Data was stolen from PandaBuy
This is a reaction to the release of data of 1.3 million platform customers from around the world, including Poland, from the pandabuy.com platform. The scope of data included in the leak included: names and surnames, e-mail addresses, telephone numbers, user IDs, IP addresses, passwords, delivery addresses, order and payment data.
The criminals created an interactive map of Poland on which they added information relating to Polish customers: their names and delivery addresses. In the following days, the map was moved to subsequent pages.
