Storm around horse transport to Morskie Oko. Karpiel-Bułecka has a proposition
Some people are outraged by horse transport to Morskie Oko, while others cannot imagine this attraction no longer being available. What does the leader of the Zakopower team think about the whole matter? Sebastian Karpiel-Bułecka showed the solution.
Sebastian Karpiel-Bułecka was born in Zakopane. The voice of a native highlander on this controversial issue can certainly be considered extremely valuable. Especially now that the issue is alive. Recently, talks were held between representatives of the Ministry of Climate and Environment, the Tatra National Park, the Zakopane County Office, the Association of Carriers to Morskie Oko, and pro-animal organizations. The parties reached an agreement and agreed to test an electric bus.
There was also a lot of talk about the dispute between Łukasz Litewka, who offered the highlanders an alternative. He said that instead of horses they could use melexes. However, some fiacres ridiculed the idea of the New Left MP. And what does the popular highlander think about the whole matter?
Karpiel-Bułecka: It's not terribly far
Karpiel-Bułecka commented on the matter in an interview with Plejada. He said tourists could complete the route on foot. – It's a beautiful walk – assures the musician. This is an ideal solution, because in addition to beautiful views, “exercise” is healthy. – It's not terribly far. It's worth going for a walk and getting some oxygen, says the leader of the Zakopower team.
And although the artist is in favor of covering the popular route on his own, he points out that taxi riders are also very important in the whole matter and cannot be forgotten. – On the other side, there are people who make a living from it, who support their families by taking tourists to Zakopane and Morskie Oko. We also need to take care of them and compensate them somehow, enabling them to (continue) supporting their families and earning money – emphasizes Karpiel-Bułecka.
New banner in Zakopane: Na Morskie Oko? Only on foot!
On May 28, MP Litewka announced that there was a billboard on the way to Zakopane. It was rented by a New Left politician. “When you welcome tourists, do it with a flourish,” we read in the description of the photo showing the banner. “At Morskie Oko? Only on foot! Horses will also be happy,” reads the slogan on it.
