Joanna Jędrzejczyk has ended her career, but she is still respected in the MMA world. The Pole received a great distinction. She was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame.

Joanna Jędrzejczyk has proudly represented Poland on the international arena for years. Initially, she competed in Thai boxing, where she became the world and European champion. Over time, she moved to MMA. Initially, she competed in smaller galas, until she joined the UFC in 2014. There she gradually climbed the ranks until a year later she became the federation champion.

The last UFC and MMA fight of the athlete from Olsztyn took place in 2022. Then she lost to Zhang Weili for the second time in her career. Afterwards, she announced her official retirement. The Pole is currently very active, among others, in show business and does not let herself be forgotten.

Jędrzejczyk is also not forgotten by the federation in which she achieved her greatest successes. During the UFC 299 gala in Miami (where Mateusz Gamrot and Michał Oleksiejczuk fought), the athlete was the first Polish woman to be included in the hall of fame. The authorities appreciated her contribution to the development of women's MMA. Therefore, no one was surprised that she was included in such a prestigious group. The player herself, as evidenced by materials on social media, did not hide her emotion. Being accepted into the UFC Hall of Fame is a very important success in her life.

Joanna Jędrzejczyk's sports career

Born in 1987 in Olsztyn, Joanna Jędrzejczyk fought in boxing, kick-boxing and Thai boxing. In MMA, he has a record of 16 wins and 5 losses. She was the UFC strawweight champion (up to 52 kilograms) in 2015-2017, defending the belt five times. In 2016, she had a Polish-Polish fight with Karolina Kowalkiewicz. She represented Team Mr. Perfect, Berkut Arrachion Olsztyn, and for the last six years of his career, American Top Team.
