Polish city distinguished in the ranking. This is where people are most satisfied with their lives

The SchengenVisaInfo.com website has prepared a report on which cities in Europe are the best for people to live in. One Polish town was included on the list of 10 such places.

According to the EU 2023 report on the quality of life in European cities, approximately 90 percent of European Union residents expressed satisfaction with life in their town. Europeans satisfied with the quality of life

Although life satisfaction levels in all EU cities have fallen compared to 2019, they still remain quite high. The EU 2023 report prepared by SchengenVisaInfo.com emphasizes that nine out of ten people are satisfied with life in European cities. The results confirm what was already observed in 2019, namely a significant improvement in the perceived quality of urban living services in eastern Member States.

31 percent of residents said their quality of life had improved, 40 percent reported no change, and approximately 29 percent reported a decline.

The report also highlights that smaller cities are perceived as better places to live in many respects – such as safety, accessibility of public spaces, health care, housing affordability and local public administration. In addition, smaller cities are considered better places to live for older people, families with small children and migrants. About 89 percent inhabitants of cities with fewer than 250,000 inhabitants people are satisfied with living here.
