After winning the Nations League and the European Championships, Polish volleyball players went to China for the qualifying tournament for the Olympic Games. The entire national team had cool heads throughout the entire period from the end of the European Championship to the departure to Xi’an. In many interviews, both Nikola Grbic and other players emphasized that their biggest opponent would be themselves and they had to be 100 percent. concentrated so that there are no unpleasant surprises.

In the first match, the White and Reds faced the well-known Belgians, whom they defeated in the 1/8 finals of the European Championships 3:1. Unfortunately, this match was not as easy as expected, and what’s worse, Nikola Grbic’s players were close to losing.
