Kaczyński’s words caused laughter. Earlier, Morawiecki presented three scenarios
Jarosław Kaczyński began his statement with a joke referring to the way in which the inhabitants of Lublin welcomed him. During the election meeting, Mateusz Morawiecki presented several election scenarios.
Jarosław Kaczyński and Mateusz Morawiecki took part in a meeting with the inhabitants of Lublin. The head of the Polish government informed the audience that there were three electoral scenarios at stake. – The first is that PiS wins. We are waiting for such a scenario, said the Prime Minister, and his words were received by the crowd with ovations and shouts of “we will win”.
Morawiecki presented election scenarios. “God forbid”
The head of the Polish government emphasized that PiS is a guarantor of “a fair Poland, with equal opportunities, a Poland that does not bow to strangers and pursues its interests firmly in the international arena.” Mateusz Morawiecki also appealed to the audience to convince their friends to vote for Law and Justice and to remind them of the achievements of the current ruling team.
– The second scenario assumes that we win the elections, but we have too few votes and too few seats to quickly form a government. Then there is the threat of early elections and we have decision-making paralysis. This is not a good scenario for Poland, so every vote for PiS counts twice. Every vote for PiS means stability, normality and rapid development – said the Prime Minister.
– And the third scenario, God protect us from it with all our might, is won by the opposition, which is at odds with itself, and with the president. Then we have no chance to continue what has been so beautifully changed in Poland, said Mateusz Morawiecki.
Jarosław Kaczyński: We are not a party of war
Jarosław Kaczyński spoke next. When the PiS president entered the stage, there were loud shouts: “Jarosław, Jarosław.” – Thank you. Thank you very much indeed. As I have said many times, best of all I have a name. That’s probably why it’s chanted so often, said the politician, causing laughter from the audience.
The PiS president reminded about the 8th edition of the Government Strategic Investment Program and the next tranche worth PLN 26 billion, which was divided between communes, counties and provincial governments. According to Jarosław Kaczyński, Lublin alone will receive approximately PLN 40 million from this pool.
The PiS leader devoted the rest of his speech to security. – Military security is based on two foundations. The first is our own strong army and we are actually building this army today, said Jarosław Kaczyński, and pointed to the alliance with the United States as the second basis.
– For the US to want to help, we have to defend ourselves. And if all this is combined and our opponents – you know who I mean, the Russians – know that we have powerful forces to defend ourselves, and the Americans will help us, then there will be no war. Then we are truly safe. And that’s what we want to deter. We don’t want war. We are not a party of war, concluded Jarosław Kaczyński.
