JW Construction Holding will build a new logistics center in Szczecin

JW Construction Holding will build a logistics center in Szczecin with a total target area of approx. 80,000 m2. sq m. Completion of the construction of the first hall of the Logistics Park is planned for the end of the year.

– We closely monitor the logistics market and its dynamic development, which is why we decided to diversify our development activities to include this sector. – said Małgorzata Ostrowska, member of the management board, quoted in the release.

– We have now applied for development conditions, we expect the building permit at the turn of the first and second quarter of 2019, and soon after receiving it, we will start the construction of the first hall. As we succeed in commercialization, we will build more – ultimately we plan to create three warehouse facilities. In implementing them, we want to be open to the market and the needs of customers, including local ones. – added Ostrowska.

The park will be located in the northern part of Szczecin, in the area of Drucki-Lubecki and ks. Wacław Bliziński, 10 km from the city center and 50 km from the airport in Goleniów. Another advantage of this location is the proximity of the Polish-German border and access to the A6 motorway leading to Berlin.

– The Logistics Park, like other facilities of this type, will be commercialized by companies with both domestic and foreign capital. It is worth adding that the prices for the use of warehouse space in Poland are still competitive compared to Western rates. – we read on.

Completion of the construction of the first hall of the Logistics Park is planned for the end of the year.
