Andrzej Duda and Donald Trump met in the former US president's private apartment. The behind-the-scenes of the two politicians' conversations have just been revealed.
Andrzej Duda met with Donald Trump on the night from Wednesday to Thursday, Polish time. The president revealed that he was invited to the private apartment of the former US president. He assured that this is a completely private visit and it will not affect Poland's relationship with the current American administration. The politician explained to journalists that he had been working with the former leader of the United States for four years and knew him in some way as a friend.

Andrzej Duda's conversation with Donald Trump lasted nearly 2.5 hours. The president was accompanied by ministers from his office: Marcin Mastalerek and Wojciech Kolarski. – It was an excellent meeting. The long, almost two and a half hour conversation took place in a great atmosphere. It was a meeting of two friends, the latter reported.
The politicians met in Donald Trump's private apartment on the 63rd floor of Trump Tower. The apartment's windows offer a view of the entire Manhattan. As “Super Express” found out, Andrzej Duda and the former US leader not only talked, but also had dinner together. The appetizer included the famous meatballs, i.e. meatballs made of minced meat in tomato sauce. The main course was beef steaks. The evening ended with an ice cream dessert.
A day later, “Super Express” photojournalists caught Andrzej Duda and Marcin Mastalerek in one of the local fast food places. The men decided on a slice of pizza, which cost only $1.50.

The Republican's staff reported that the topics discussed by politicians included: a proposal to increase NATO defense contributions to 3 percent. GDP, the war between Russia and Ukraine and the conflict in the Middle East. “President Trump fondly recalled his memorable trip to Poland in 2017 and praised Poles for the steadfast defense of their sovereignty, as well as their commitment to the security of European borders against all threats,” wrote a statement after the meeting.
