Senate office in trouble. There is a new decision of the prosecutor
According to Interia, the former deputy head of the Senate Information Center, Anna Go Dzwon, is accused by some of her subordinates of mobbing. New threads have surfaced.
At the beginning of May, Interia reported that the District Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw was to conduct preparatory proceedings regarding possible mobbing in the Chancellery of the Senate. This is the aftermath of a notification from one of the employees of this office. It concerned Anna Gozwoll, former deputy head of the Senate Information Center.
Mobbing in the Chancellery of the Senate?
As it turns out, one of her subordinates stated that the boss had m. “publicly criticize him and evaluate his work, accuse him of inappropriate clothing, monitor his activity in social media” or “show unjustified reluctance”.
The interested party did not comment on these reports. However, something was up, because the case came under the microscope of the Senate anti-mobbing committee. Ultimately, its members decided that mobbing did not take place because the reprehensible behavior lasted too short.
The employee concerned did not accept these translations. Already in August 2022, he submitted a notification to the prosecutor’s office. Although the investigators refused to initiate proceedings, the victim’s attorney appealed against this decision.
New news on the case
According to Interia, a new investigation is currently underway. So far, investigators have questioned several employees of the Chancellery of the Senate, as well as former PO MP Joanna Augustynowska, who was the only one to submit a dissenting opinion in the Senate anti-mobbing committee. Witness testimonies led to new decisions. Two people were given the status of victims. It is known that they were associated with the CIS and collaborated with Anna Gobell.
– For the time being, the proceedings are in the case, not against someone. Activities are ongoing. We want the next interrogated persons who may act as witnesses not to be influenced by what has already been established. We care about honest testimonies – explained Szymon Banna from the District Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw.
