Andrzej Duda talked to Donald Trump during his visit to the USA. The meeting of politicians did not escape the attention of Radosław Sikorski.

During his visit to the United States, Andrzej Duda met with Donald Trump. After the talks, the politicians posed in front of the richly decorated and dripping with gold doors in Trump Tower. The President of Poland holds a tray in his hands, while the former US leader holds an object that resembles a scepter. The photo was published on social media by the Republican campaign of Donald Trump.

The photo did not escape the attention of Radosław Sikorski. The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs quoted the Latin saying “de gustibus non est disputandum”, which can be translated as “there is no accounting for taste”. Marek Belka also joined the discussion and, referring to the quote from the Minister of Foreign Affairs, added: “especially with people who don't have any.”

Duda talked to Trump. What topics were covered?

Andrzej Duda met with Donald Trump at Trump Tower in New York. The Republican's staff reported that the topics discussed by politicians included: a proposal to increase NATO defense contributions to 3 percent. GDP, the war between Russia and Ukraine and the conflict in the Middle East. “President Trump fondly recalled his memorable trip to Poland in 2017 and praised Poles for steadfastly defending their sovereignty, as well as their commitment to secure European borders against all threats,” wrote a statement after the meeting.

The Polish side also talked about the meeting with Trump. – An excellent meeting of two friends who recalled the time when they worked together for 4 years while holding presidential offices. It was a very good, fruitful time for Polish-American relations. Donald Trump has repeatedly emphasized his great sympathy for Poland and the appreciation he has for Poles, said Wojciech Kolarski on Polskie Radio 24.
