In turn, the award named after Vinicius Jr. received the Socrates Award for his involvement in charitable and social activities. A day later, after the Ballon d’Or Gala, Real Madrid announced the extension of the contract with the Brazilian. The new agreement is to be valid until 2027.
“Real Madrid and Vini Jr. have reached an agreement on extending the contract of the player, who will now be associated with the club until June 30, 2027,” we read in a statement from the club.

Over six seasons, he played 235 matches for the first team, scoring 63 goals. During this time, he won 9 championship titles: 1 Champions League, 2 Club World Cups, 1 European Super Cup, 2 leagues, 1 King’s Cup and 2 Spanish Super Cup.
