When do Polish volleyball players play? The schedule of White and Red matches in the European Championship 2023

The moment has come when another great volleyball event starts – the Women’s European Championship. Our compatriots led by Stefano Lavarini will also take part in this prestigious tournament. Fans and experts hope that Biało-Czerwone will do as well in the championship of the Old Continent as before in the League of Nations.

Let us remind you – in 2023, Polish volleyball players surprised with their excellent form, which they lacked in previous years. However, during the tenure of the Italian coach, they made huge progress in a very short time, which resulted in a medal in the already mentioned League of Nations. Our national team reached the semi-finals and defeated the United States 3:2 in the bronze medal match.

Now, no one in the team talks openly about medals, although the appetites of fans and experts have been aroused. Nevertheless, Stefano Lavarini’s charges approach the European Championships with humility, because they know that they are still at the beginning of a certain road and cannot underestimate their opponents.

The good news before the tournament is the fact that Joanna Wołosz, highly valued by our coach, has returned to the team after an injury. On the other hand, there has been a lot of talk recently about the health problems of other players, such as Malwina Smarzek or Martyna Czyrniańska. It is already known that both will be absent from the tournament. So it is not known in what form the White-Reds will join the games. However, they should deal with their opponents from the group stage without any major problems and advance to the next stage.
