There is a new director of the Central IT Center. This is a new important figure in the Ministry of Digitization
Radosław Maćkiewicz became the new Director of the Central IT Center. He was nominated for this position by the Minister of Digital Affairs, Krzysztof Gawkowski.

As announced in the official announcement sent to the media, Radosław Maćkiewicz – who has just received the act of appointment to this position from the Minister of Digital Affairs Krzysztof Gawkowski – has many years of experience as a manager in the new technologies industry.
His specializations include issues such as cloud computing, cybersecurity and, in a broader sense, management of companies in the IT sector.

The new director of the Central IT Center can boast of professional experience gained at such IT industry giants as Microsoft and Hwellet-Packard. In addition, he is also an academic lecturer dealing with issues in the field of new technologies, entrepreneurship and practical psychology of management.
Radosław Maćkiewicz can also boast of having completed studies at the Warsaw University of Technology and an MBA conducted by the Business School at the Warsaw University of Technology, together with the London Business School, HEC Paris and NHH Norwegian School of Economics.
The most important competences of the new director of the Central IT Center will include the implementation of the largest IT projects for the public sector, ensuring the guarantee of maintaining the main state ICT systems, as well as, among others, development of the mObywatel application.
