The Poles want a second victory. Check when they will play against France

Last year, the Polish national volleyball team, led by Stefano Lavarini, won the first Nations League medal in history. Our ladies won bronze medals. In addition, they advanced to the Olympic Games and reached the quarterfinals of the European Championships. It was a great year that showed that the Polish national team can beat the strongest teams in the world. That is why we were waiting with great hopes for the 2024 season, which will end with the Olympic Games in Paris.

The Italians are defeated. A great start to the Nations League

On Tuesday, Polish representatives inaugurated this year's Nations League. First, our ladies went to the tournament in Antalya, where their first rivals were Italians. In previous years we were able to play against Italy and this also happened in Turkey. The white and red team won without losing a set, showing great mental resilience in difficult moments. This was the case, among others, in the first set, when the Poles won, even though they were already losing 16:21.

After the victory against Italy, our team is one of three, apart from China and the Netherlands, that won the match 3-0 on the first day of the Nations League.

Poland will play against France. When is the next match?

In the next match, Lavarini's players will play against the French national team, a team that was not present in the previous edition of the Nations League. In theory, our players are the favorites to win, but of course the Tricolor team cannot be underestimated.

The Polish women have to wait a little longer for the next match, because the match against France will take place on Friday. Starting at 4:00 p.m. This will also be the inauguration of a three-day volleyball marathon, because on Saturday the Polish team will face the Dutch, with whom they played two sparring matches before the Nations League. On Sunday, our team's rivals will be the Japanese.
