The president, citing information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, assured that no Poles were harmed in connection with the events. – There is no information that any of our citizens have suffered in Hamas’ attacks on Israel so far. Fortunately, he said on Polsat News.

Andrzej Duda repeated the position of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs to refrain from trips to Israel. He also assured that the Polish diplomatic services are doing everything in their power to determine the whereabouts of all Polish citizens in Israel and provide them with the necessary care.

Before 12:00 the Minister of National Defense announced a new decision. “The Polish Army is preparing to evacuate Poles from Israel. We will send C-130 Hercules transport planes for our compatriots,” said Mariusz Błaszczak on the X website (formerly Twitter).

“Polish consular and diplomatic services have been in contact with our citizens in Israel from the very beginning of the events, providing information and necessary support. Also thanks to their efforts, a plane will depart in a few hours to evacuate our citizens from Tel Aviv airport, where they have already received drinks and food from the consuls, as well as information that is important to them. We provide all necessary and possible care until all our citizens safely leave Israel,” wrote Zbigniew Rau, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Andrzej Duda also spoke on the matter. “We are sending transport planes from the air force to evacuate Poles currently in Israel. Soldiers from our special forces will ensure loading protection and safety on board. We are working so that all our compatriots can return home peacefully,” the president wrote on social media.
