PZPN issued a statement regarding Hutnik Kraków, whose players were suspected of fixing match results. The highest football body in Poland was informed about the circumstances by the club’s authorities.
“The club asked the Disciplinary Ombudsman at the PZPN to verify it by using the tools that the PZPN has and uses in similar situations to analyze whether there was any match-fixing in the last two matches,” Hutnik wrote. The Polish Football Association carefully analyzed the situation and concluded that the results were not the result of previous bets with legal bookmakers.
“Clear information and reports obtained from companies monitoring bookmakers have shown that, both on Asian markets and locally on the market of legally operating bookmakers in Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, no suspicious bets have been recorded, especially in live bets on change of result and loss.” Hutnik despite the previous high lead in these matches,” we read in a statement from PZPN.
