New route from Poland. This exotic island will be a winter hit
The premiere connection from the Polish airport is planned for Christmas. Flight to 7,000 m. km from Poland, the island will take as long as 11 hours.
This information is a real sensation. From December this year another connection to Asia will be launched from Poland. The destination of Poles’ New Year’s travels may be a Sri Lankan island in the Indian Ocean. All thanks to Join UP! – the leading Ukrainian tour operator has just announced a new offer from the Rzeszów-Jasionka airport.
Flights from Rzeszów to Sri Lanka from December 25
The Join Up! travel agency, using the SkyUp Airlines fleet, will provide flight services between Rzeszów and Sri Lanka. The premiere launch is planned for December 25. At the moment, 11 connections have been confirmed – alternately on Mondays and Thursdays, every one and a half weeks. Planes from Jesionka will head to the airport in Mattala, in the southern part of the island. It will take the Boeing 737 and 737 MAX 11 hours and 15 minutes to get there. Passengers will be able to choose a week-long stay or stay on the island for up to 3 weeks of vacation.
Sri Lanka is famous for its golden beaches, remnants of the ancient civilization of Ceylon and vast green tea fields. “This is currently the most exotic, transcontinental charter route offered from our airport,” commented the president of Rzeszów-Jasionka airport, Adam Hamryszczak.
Residents of Podkarpacie have more and more choices
Reaching the airport in Jesionka will be quick and comfortable also for those who do not live in Rzeszów. Thanks to the recently launched airport trains from the city center, we can reach Jasionka for only PLN 3.70.
Rzeszów also offers charter flights to other exotic places, which may encourage Poles to take long winter trips. The airport’s offer includes several Egyptian resorts – Hurghada. Marsa Alam and Sharm el-Sheikh, launched thanks to cooperation with travel agencies Anex, Coral Travel and the above-mentioned Join UP!
“The inhabitants of Podkarpacie and neighboring regions also want to fly directly from Rzeszów on holiday to distant, warm destinations during the winter season. I hope Join UP! and other tour operators will develop this type of offer in the coming seasons,” says the president of the airport.
