Thanks to the leak, we know what the latest smartphone model from Oppo will offer, which will be released soon, perhaps at the very beginning of 2024.
We just found out that Oppo A59 5G – because this is the name of the upcoming Chinese smartphone – will debut on global markets “soon”, which may even mean the early beginning of 2024. In turn, thanks to leaks, we also learned the first information about its approximate technical specifications, and we also know how much we will have to pay for it.
Oppo A59 5G. What will he offer?
The official specification of OPPO A59 5G is to be revealed just before its announced premiere. Thanks to the leak, which we can get acquainted with thanks to the sources of industry informant Abhishek Yadav, we already know more or less what components we will be dealing with in this smartphone.
With a high degree of probability, we can assume that Oppo A59 5G will be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 processor with a clock frequency of 2.2 GHz (made in 7 nm technology), which – depending on the version – will be supported by 4, 6 or even 8 GB RAM.
In turn, as the name of the device suggests, it will have a modem allowing the use of the 5G mobile network. Each of the available Oppo A59 5G variants will have the same amount of built-in storage space for user data, in this case it will be 128 GB. For now, it is not known whether there will be an option to expand this memory using a microSD card.
Something for fans of big screens
Oppo A59 5G is to be equipped with a large 6.56-inch display supported by a 90 Hz image refresh function. We already know that, according to what the manufacturer previously declared, the smartphone screen will take up nearly 90 percent. area of the entire front panel (screen-to-body ratio).
At the top of the display there will be a small “V”-shaped cutout that will house an 8-megapixel camera for taking selfies and making video calls. On the other side there will be room for the main camera consisting of two separate lenses: one with a 13 Mpix matrix, f/2.2 aperture and a lens with an 81.3-degree viewing angle, and the other with a 2 Mpix matrix.

According to the above-mentioned informant Abhishek Yadav, in his country, i.e. India, Oppo A59 5G will cost 14,999 rupees (approx. PLN 720) for the model with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB of data memory, and 16,999 rupees (approx. PLN 810) , in the case of the 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal memory model.
