Mateusz Morawiecki was asked about PO's idea. “I support this proposal”
Mateusz Morawiecki spoke on the ban on the sale of alcohol at stations, which is what Izabela Leszczyna wants. – I am in favor of limiting alcohol consumption as much as possible and such a thing may lead to that – said the former prime minister.
– I believe that alcohol should not be sold at gas stations at all. I will convince my colleagues from the government to do so. The effects of treating people who abuse alcohol are borne by all taxpayers, the Minister of Health told Radio Zet on Wednesday. Izabela Leszczyna would also like to limit beer advertising. Currently, the broadcast ban is valid until 20. However, the consent of the coalition parties would be required to introduce restrictions.
Ban on selling alcohol at stations. Mateusz Morawiecki about Izabela Leszczyna's idea
Mateusz Morawiecki, who was at the press conference of the Work Team for Poland in Gliwice, was asked about the matter on Thursday. – I support this proposal. Alcoholism is evil and anything that leads to increased opportunities to buy alcohol, especially in circumstances where it may serve very bad behavior, is something bad – the former prime minister began his statement.
Morawiecki explained that “in this case he means drivers who, unfortunately, sometimes drive under the influence of alcohol and commit crimes.” – I am in favor of limiting alcohol consumption as much as possible and such a thing may lead to that – concluded the Law and Justice politician.
Krzysztof Bosak: if someone wants to buy alcohol, they will buy it
Krzysztof Bosak, who was also asked about it on Radio Zet, sees the matter completely differently. – A ban on the sale of alcohol at gas stations is not necessary, absolutely, it will force people to be happy (…) let's be serious, if someone wants to buy alcohol, they will buy it. Gas station stores should be treated like all other stores. If anyone thinks it should be different, let them say why, said one of the Confederation leaders.
