The goal for the Polish national team was scored in the 53rd minute of the match. Then Arkadiusz Milik brilliantly passed the ball passed into the penalty area by Piotr Zieliński. Świderski got the ball and sent a shot on the ground right next to the right post, which equalized the match!

The White and Reds are fighting to advance to the European Championships, which will be held next year in Germany. During Fernando Santos’ term, they played five matches, of which they won only two: against Albania 1-0 and the Faroe Islands 2-0. They suffered three defeats in matches: Moldova 2:3, Czech Republic 1:3 and Albania 0:2. Immediately after the victory in Thorshavn, they significantly improved their situation in the Group E table, which is as follows:

Place Representation: Matches: Goal balance: Points:
1. Albania 6 11:3 13
2. Poland 6 8:8 9
3. The czech republic 5 7:5 8
4. Moldova 5 5:5 8
5. Faroe Islands 6 2:12 1

The last qualifying match will be played by the White and Reds against the Czech national team in front of their home crowd. Let us remind you that Robert Lewandowski is missing from the current training camp as he is recovering from an ankle injury. It can be assumed that he will return to the lineup next time. In his absence, Piotr Zieliński is the captain of the team.
