June holiday abroad from PLN 244 per person. We will fly cheaply to Italy, but not only

More than two months separate Polish employees from the next opportunity for a longer break after Easter, which can be organized in Venice, Rome or Pisa, as well as Paris and Dubrovnik for less than PLN 400 per person. However, with a budget of PLN 100 more, flights to Athens and Valencia are also available. Experts from the eSky.pl travel platform have analyzed where it will be cheapest in June this year. Here are the bargain prices for air connections at the turn of May and June 2024.

June soup for PLN 244 per person

Corpus Christi in 2024 falls exceptionally early, on Thursday, May 30. So all we have to do is take a vacation on Friday, May 31, to enjoy four days of rest from work. Longer weekends are the period when Poles go abroad in large numbers, spending this time, among others, on a short European city break.

– Our joint research with the GfK agency confirms that most Polish travelers (65%) book city breaks from 1 month to over 3 months before the trip. Purchasing airline tickets in advance allows you to save a lot, and research shows that for more than half of Poles surveyed (52%), a bargain flight price is the most important issue when organizing a multi-day trip – explains Deniz Rymkiewicz from eSky.pl.

Currently, the cheapest air travel options for a long weekend in June – tickets up to PLN 400 per person round-trip – include destinations such as Venice, Rome and Pisa, as well as Paris and Croatian Dubrovnik. We can book a trip to Italian cities for as little as PLN 244 per person in the case of Venice (May 31 – June 4, 2024, Katowice – Treviso), PLN 381 to Rome (May 31 – June 4, 2024, Gdańsk – Rome) and PLN 390 for one passenger for the trip to Pisa (June 2-4, 2024, Wrocław – Pisa).

Not only Italy

If we are organizing a trip to the French capital but want to avoid the summer heat, it is worth going there at the beginning of June. For flights to Paris, one person will pay PLN 352 for a departure from Modlin near Warsaw and landing at the airport in Beauvais (May 29-31, 2024).

Dubrovnik gained its greatest popularity thanks to “Game of Thrones” – the series adaptation of the epic saga was filmed in this city in southern Croatia. You can walk the historic streets, try fresh seafood and even lie on the beach at the beginning of June (June 2-5, 2024, Wrocław – Dubrovnik). For return flights we will pay PLN 389 per person. For June 2024, we will fly to Athens and Valencia from PLN 400.

If we have a slightly larger budget for June travels, then flights from Katowice to Athens on June 2-5 are possible: round-trip tickets for one person will cost PLN 404. In turn, travelers craving Spanish sun may be interested in flights to Valencia. We will fly from the capital of Lower Silesia to the Mediterranean Sea for PLN 451 per person in both directions (June 2-5, 2024, Wrocław – Valencia).
