Honeymoon tragedy. The bride drowned

Honeymoon tragedy. The bride drowned

After arriving at the scene, medics performed resuscitation for nearly 30 minutes. Unfortunately, the injured tourist could not be saved.

Even during dream and carefully planned trips, not everything always goes according to plan. A honeymoon disaster can mean something much more serious than missing a flight or losing luggage. A couple on their honeymoon in Australia learned this the hard way. The bride was found unconscious on one of the popular beaches.

The bride drowned on a beach on the outskirts of Sydney

The incident occurred just before 1 p.m. local time on Shelly Beach located in Manly, a suburb of Sydney. After bystanders noticed that she was drowning, medical help was immediately called and arrived by rescue helicopter. Despite half an hour of cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the woman pulled from the sea, she could not be saved. There are still police cars with officers on site investigating the reasons for the incident (sources say there are up to 10 vehicles). The local portal “Manly Observer” reports that a tourist who was spending her honeymoon in Sydney died in the accident. Her exact identity has not yet been made public. It is known that the woman is 32 years old and probably came from abroad.

The beaches in Australia are considered the most beautiful in the world

Australian beaches are considered one of the most worth visiting. No wonder they are a popular destination for newlyweds. According to last year’s ranking prepared by influencers and journalists, the most beautiful beach in the world is Lucky Bay, located in the western part of the southern coast. It is considered an extraordinary place with pristine white sand, where you can escape from civilization surrounded by kangaroos. The beach stretches for five kilometers and provides the opportunity to spend time away from other vacationers.
