He refused to join Tusk's government. However, the deputy head of Hołownia's party will not take over the ministry

Donald Tusk and his coalition partners only had to wonder who would take over the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. However, Michał Kobosko, who was tipped to be the minister of the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy, refused to accept the KO leader.

According to unofficial reports, Donald Tusk has almost determined the composition of the government. Poland 2050 is to cover two ministries, the Left four plus the position of deputy prime minister, PSL five and the deputy prime minister, and the rest are to fall to KO. The only unknown was who would head the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. According to the arrangements, it was to be a Leftist politician. In turn, the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy was to fall to Michał Koboska.

However, the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy did not work for Michał Koboska. The deputy head of Poland 2050 refused

However, “Rzeczpospolita” informed unofficially that it may happen differently. The vice-president of Poland 2050 refused to join the government because he wants to focus primarily on parliamentary work, especially parliamentary diplomacy. This does not mean, however, that Szymon Hołownia’s party will have one less ministry. Paulina Hennig-Kloska is to head the Ministry of Climate and Environment.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy is to be taken over by Koboska’s party colleague, Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz. She is one of the most trusted people of the leader of Poland 2050. She was the head of the parliamentary campaign of the Hołownia group, and previously – the think tank of the Polish 2050 environment. In the past, she was also, among others, Polish ambassador to Russia.

When will Donald Tusk officially present the composition of his government? You’ll have to wait a while

The official composition of Tusk’s government is to be presented after December 11. – I wish it were the day after tomorrow. Almost no one came to the meetings with Mateusz Morawiecki, the current prime minister looking for support. It turned out that there was no majority to form a government. I would expect him to come on Monday and say: ‘sorry, guys and girls in the Sejm, it didn’t work, thank you very much, I’m not forming this government’ – said Krzysztof Gawkowski on RMF FM.
