A previously unknown recording has been published. It concerns Zbigniew Ziobro's health problems
The former director of the Justice Fund department recalled a conversation between Zbigniew Ziobro and Marcin Romanowski in Roman Giertych's lecture. Tomasz Mraz drew attention to the strong voice of the former Minister of Justice despite his illness.
“I am publishing a previously unknown recording that proves that despite his health problems, Zbigniew Ziobro can control his people with an iron hand. Was he behind Ziobro's #Prowokacja? Should his prosecutor (responsible for military affairs), Janeczek, resign today?” – Roman Giertych wrote on social media. Earlier, the lawyer used the hashtag in reference to the case of “Polish soldiers in handcuffs”.
In the video, Giertych asks Tomasz Mraz whether he had any personal contact with Marcin Romanowski or Zbigniew Ziobro after the results of the parliamentary elections. The former director of the Justice Fund department denied contact with the leader of Sovereign Poland. In turn, the former deputy minister of justice wanted to make sure during the meeting that Mraz “would not say anything and would remain silent.”
Tomasz Mraz revealed to Roman Giertych Zbigniew Ziobro's telephone number to Marcin Romanowski
– During one of such cyclical meetings organized by him, where a strategy for the Justice Fund commission was to be created, Zbigniew Ziobro called him. He answered the phone and I heard Minister Ziobro's voice for maybe three seconds, said the former director of the Justice Fund department. Then Romanowski was to go to another room.
“There is a history of cancer in my family, but I don't remember anyone having a voice as strong, as unaffected by the disease, as it was during the brief fragment of conversation I was able to hear,” Mraz said. The call was supposed to concern one of the organizations that received funds from the Justice Fund and was subject to media attacks. Ziobro was expected to prepare a statement or correction for the press.
