Canceled flights from Poland. The low-cost airline is removing some routes

The carrier reduces the number of connections from an important Polish airport and gives up a popular route. Passengers traveling to the British Isles will suffer.

After the announced price increases by Ryanair, it’s time for another bad news for Polish travelers. In 2024, the number of flights from Krakow to Great Britain will be reduced. The easyJet airline will reduce the number of connections from the Małopolska airport to Edinburgh and Bristol. The route to Luton will be removed completely.

EasyJet reduces the number of connections from Krakow

Crisis on the aviation market related to, among others, the grounding of the Boeing 737 Max 9, engine inspection and delays in the production of machines will affect passengers. According to fly4free.pl, some of the connections from Poland of the British low-cost airline easyJet will be reduced in the spring and summer season. Krakow will lose some of the flights to Edinburgh, which previously operated four times a week. From mid-April, three planes will take us to the capital of Scotland – on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays. Polish tourists can also expect fewer connections to Bristol – from April, three flights a week will be replaced by two.

London-Luton will disappear from the carrier’s network

The connection between Krakow’s Balice and London Luton airport will disappear from easyJet’s timetable on April 2, 2024. Instead of this route, the airline will offer tourists connections to Belfast. Flights to the capital of Northern Ireland will operate on Tuesdays and Fridays. We can still reach Luton airport from Krakow thanks to regular Ryanair and Wizz Air connections (available in the summer flight timetable). Direct easyJet flights from Krakow to Manchester will not be available, as before, on Thursdays and Sundays. In the airline’s updated program, we will fly to the city located in north-west England every Monday and Friday. The new easyJet timetable from Krakow will also affect the frequency of flights to Basel. Kraków will connect with the Swiss airport with an additional flight, the third flight in a week since the beginning of April.
