Browary Warszawskie reveals another secret

In the heart of the Warsaw Brewery complex, right next to the restored old brewery building, an apartment building will be built.

In the vicinity of the most characteristic, historic building of the Warsaw Brewery – the old brewhouse – an apartment building will be built, offering luxurious conditions for people who like to combine relaxation and comfort with participation in urban life. The building with a copper façade will be built on the new section of Krochmalna Street, right next to the Malthouse Market Square, Breakfast Square and the former Laboratory.

– Residents of Apartamenty przy Warzelnia will be in the center of the capital, but away from its hustle and bustle. Close to everything urban, but in a green and quiet environment with plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops. Living in Browary Warszawskie you will be able to eat out, but at the same time be at home. A quick breakfast in one of the cafes on Krochmalna Street? Lunch at the Brewery Gate? Or maybe an elegant dinner in the atmospheric Piwnice Czasu? It will just be a matter of a simple decision. – says Dawid Wrona, sales director in the Housing Department of Echo Investment.

A place with history

In the place where Echo Investment will start the construction of the Malthouse Apartments this year, the buildings of the brewery malt house have stood for decades. It was here that specialized malt brewers supervised the process of germinating barley grains, which gave rise to the excellent products of the Warsaw brewery. A characteristic, malty smell spread from here to the entire area. And although the malt house building has not survived to this day, its characteristic shape and proportions will be continued in contemporary architecture, which was created in the prestigious JEMS Architekci studio. The project is based on historical references and fits harmoniously into the historic buildings.

– The adopted solutions and noble materials are a nod to the old buildings. They enter into dialogue with it thanks to the use of copper-colored panels, perfectly harmonizing with the historic surroundings of the Malthouse buildings and the Time Cellars. Representative entrance halls from Krochmalna Street, an elegant reception and a comfortable relaxation area will be the building’s showcase. Residents of the building will be able to use the concierge service available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. – adds Dawid Wrona, sales director in the Housing Department of Echo Investment.

The building will provide 76 apartments of various sizes. Both one-room units and four-room apartments will be available.

Browary Warszawskie is the area between Grzybowska, Wronia, Chłodna and Krochmalna streets, which Echo Investment will reintegrate into the urban fabric. It will be a unique urban quarter, open to everyone, created by residential buildings, office buildings and public squares, places of rest and recreation, cafes, restaurants and shops.
