Bartosz Zmarzlik supports the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. The four-time individual speedway world champion donated his motorcycle to auction.
The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity is an annual celebration during which money is collected around the world to support the activities of the foundation founded by Jerzy Owsiak. Famous figures from the world of sports also join the initiative to support the tradition of over three decades.
Bartosz Zmarzlik supported WOŚP in a special way
A few days ago we informed about Iga Świątek’s gesture. The leader of the WTA ranking decided to donate her beautiful outfit from the WTA Finals 2023. Bartosz Zmarzlik apparently wanted to outdo the idea of the best tennis player in the world. The four-time speedway world champion decided to donate his motorcycle to the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity.
“We’re going big this year. At the WOŚP auction you can bid… my motorcycle, on which I scored several important points, and the championship in the 2023 season! I am very curious about the amount that will be credited to the Orchestra’s account,” Zmarzlik wrote on social media.
The auction has already reached over PLN 60,000, and we are talking about the stock as of January 16. Additionally, apart from the motorcycle itself, there is also an autograph of the best Polish speedway rider on the motorcycle cover.
The 32nd Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity will take place on January 28
This time, WOŚP will play for the lungs after the pandemic, both for children and adults. The funds collected during the finale number 32 will be dedicated to the purchase of equipment for diagnosing, monitoring and rehabilitation of lung diseases of patients in pulmonary wards for children and adults.
Let us remind you that the final performance of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity is a one-day public collection organized by the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation. Additionally, it is also accompanied by online campaigns and closed events that start at the beginning of December of the previous year (i.e. in this case 2023).
