Polish volleyball is considered one of the best, if not the best, in the world. Every year, many talented players reach the senior level. The end of the season means not only the finals of the senior competition, but also the junior competition. While the Tauron Liga volleyball players are preparing for the play-offs, their younger colleagues are fighting for the Polish championship in Stężyca. An unexpected guest showed up at their tournament.

For several years, Leandro Visotto was considered the world's leading attacker. The legend of the Brazilian national team ended her career in 2023, but immediately after finishing the game she started a new challenge. The 40-year-old, born in Sao Paulo, has been an assistant coach at South Florida University since this season, the women's team participating in the American NCAA academic competition.
The Brazilian's visit to a village near Gdańsk could have been even more of a surprise. On Thursday, Visotto appeared at a meeting with the participants of the Polish Junior Championships in Stężyca. Among them were both players and coaches taking part in the competition. On the event's official Facebook profile you can read that he was not the only guest at the event.
Visotto himself shared materials from the lecture on his InstaStories. Although he never represented the Polish club, he is still quite popular to this day.
Leandro Visotto's career
Leandro Visotto Neves played for Brazilian teams during the first years of his senior career. It first appeared in Europe in 2006. Later he played for, among others, Trentino, Cuneo, Ural Ufa, Monza, as well as Asian Suwon Kepco Vixtorm, Al Arabi and JT Thunders. He is a two-time winner of the Champions League, a world champion, a four-time winner of the World League and an Olympic vice-champion (from London).
