Will Dorota Gawryluk run in the elections? The journalist's entry gives food for thought
In her latest entry, journalist Dorota Gawryluk referred to speculations about her participation in the presidential elections. “Maybe I should really think about it?” – she wrote.
In the context of the upcoming presidential elections, there is more and more talk about the possible participation of the well-known Polsat journalist Dorota Gawryluk. Polityka Insight was the first to report on such a plan in February. According to Wirtualna Polska's informants, this is evidenced by, among others, changing the name of the Clean Poland Program Association to the Better Poland Association. “Lepsza Polska” is also the name of Gawryluk's journalistic program. According to the portal's interlocutor, these are preparations for building campaign structures.
Dorota Gawryluk for president? The journalist cools down her emotions
On Friday, Gawryluk took part in a meeting at the Catholic University of Lublin. During a conversation with students, a question was asked about the journalist's plans for 2025.
– Will you run for president? – asked one of the students.
– I don't want to speculate or speculate. There is a lot of speculation on this subject. Let's leave it today, the journalist replied.
In an entry posted on Instagram, after the meeting, she referred to her inquiries.
“I would like to thank the students of KUL for inviting me to the discussion about the media. There were interesting questions, but as I see, the emotions aroused by those about the presidential elections,” she wrote.
“Does everyone who would like to live in a better Poland have to immediately become a candidate in the elections? I don't think so. And I'm not thinking about running for office. However, I see that others think for me! I laugh at this, not everyone laughs. If it continues like this, maybe I should really think about it? If this occurs to me, I will let you know immediately! – she added, not ruling out running in the presidential elections.
“For now, I believe that I can do a lot where I am. I try to make it possible to talk about a better Poland without aggression in my program,” she concluded.
