This is what two new Warsaw hotels will look like. They will be created at The Warsaw HUB
The hotel tower of The Warsaw HUB complex at Rondo Daszyńskiego has reached its final height. Therefore, Ghelamco has made available visualizations of hotel interiors for the first time. This is the first opportunity to virtually look inside Holiday Inn Express and Crowne Plaza.
The structure of the hotel building within The Warsaw HUB complex has reached its full height. Ultimately, it will accommodate 430 rooms and apartments of two chains: Holiday Inn Express and Crowne Plaza. The investor published for the first time visualizations of selected interiors, including: hotel conference center, restaurant, sky bar and sample rooms.
The Warsaw HUB is being built in the most dynamically developing part of Warsaw, right next to Rondo Daszyńskiego in Wola. The business complex includes three high-rise buildings: a hotel and two office buildings, connected by a common five-story base, which will include retail, service, conference and coworking spaces.
In November, the general contractor and developer of the project, Ghelamco Poland, completed the construction of the reinforced concrete structure of the hotel building. Currently, the final works are underway on the steel structure on the roof, after which it will reach a height of 86 m. At the same time, facade panels and windows are being installed and finishing works are being carried out inside the facility.
Two hotels in one chain
Building A will house two renowned hotels belonging to the largest hotel chain in the world – InterContinental Hotels Group: Holiday Inn Express and the first Crowne Plaza in Poland. Both will occupy a total of 21,000 sq m. sq m and will provide 430 comfortable rooms and apartments. Crowne Plaza will offer its guests 212 rooms and apartments, while Holiday Inn Express will have 218 of them. In November 2017, Ghelamco signed an agreement with IHG to manage both brands of this operator.
– Holiday Inn Express and the first Crowne Plaza in Poland will complement the offer of The Warsaw HUB. They will also enrich the area around Rondo Daszyńskiego, which will soon turn into a truly vibrant part of the city – says Jarosław Zagórski, commercial and development director of Ghelamco Poland.
The hotel tower will also have other publicly available services. On the glass ground floor, next to the reception hall, there will be a cafe with a work and relaxation area, and on the 22nd floor there will be an impressive sky bar with a terrace overlooking the center of Warsaw. On the first and second floors, there will be fashionably designed hotel restaurants with tables for approximately 270 guests.
– We have noticed an increase in demand for hotels in Eastern Europe, so we are glad that our portfolio will expand to include The Warsaw HUB. This investment will be the first Crowne Plaza in Poland and our first dual-brand complex on the market. We are delighted to partner with Ghelamco on this important venture in such a prime location. Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn Express are two strong brands that will serve the development of business and leisure travel in Warsaw – says Miguel Martins, Development Director in Poland, IHG.
Not just hotel rooms
On the podium of the complex, between tower A and B, there will be a spacious, 2,000-square-meter space. sq m of space at the Crowne Plaza conference center. Its design will refer to the post-industrial heritage of Wola and its modern, dynamically changing metropolitan character. The building will also include bars and a fitness club. The interior designs of the hotel part are created by the renowned Tremend studio.
Construction and finishing works in the hotel tower will last until the end of 2019. The opening of both hotels is planned in the first quarter of 2020.
