This could be a real transfer hit of the Ekstraklasa. Will the representative return to the country?

Surprising news from the Lech Poznań camp. According to Polskapilka.pl, Kolejorz is strongly considering bringing in Kamil Jóźwiak in the winter window. The former Polish representative is to support the Poznań club in the fight for high goals in the PKO BP Ekstraklasa.

How much truth is there in the reports of Polskapilka.pl? In the case of Kamil Jóźwiak’s possible return to Poland, it is a related transaction. Kristoffer Velde would open the place for the Polish midfielder. The Norwegian has been tempted by offers from various foreign clubs for a long time. It is possible that Velde will head towards Turkey in the winter.

Will Kamil Jóźwiak return to Lech Poznań?

If this actually happened and the Norwegian were to leave the capital of Greater Poland, up to EUR 5 million could be on the table. Such money is a large financial injection, opening up opportunities for Kolejorz to make transfer moves. Velde could be replaced by Jóźwiak, who has been a Charlotte FC player since 2022.

In the United States, however, the former Polish representative is doing averagely. It is possible that both sides could benefit. Lech is a very good player, considering the Polish league, and Jóźwiak has a chance to rebuild his position, also in the context of the Polish national team. The footballer played in the national team, among others. during the work of coach Paulo Sousa.

Lech Poznań made several successful “comebacks”

It is worth recalling that Kolejorz has already benefited several times from attracting Poles to the country, after more or less successful foreign adventures. Such examples include Bartosz Salamon or Dawid Kownacki. The former came to PKO BP Ekstraklasa after many years spent on the Apennine Peninsula. He quickly became Lech’s main player and only a doping scandal caused him to be dropped from both the Poznań team and the Polish national team.

Kownacki appeared in Poznań for a short time, but it was enough to help the team fight for the championship in the 2021/22 season. After a six-month loan, “Kownaś” returned to the German pitch. He is currently a player of Werder Bremen.
