The Polish coach received an offer from the Middle East. One direction excludes

What's next for Maciej Skorża's coaching career? According to the latest reports, the experienced trainer has a foreign offer on the table and is leaning towards it.

If we were to choose a Polish coach who deserved to be called the most sought-after, Maciej Skorża would take a high place in such a ranking. Many Ekstraklasa clubs would like to see him at home, some point to him as the next coach of the Polish national team, and he also arouses considerable interest abroad.

Maciej Skorża is still unemployed

However, this is hardly surprising, since we are talking about a trainer who has achieved considerable success in recent years. When he led Lech Poznań, he led them to the long-awaited championship. In turn, when he went to Japan to work at Urawa Red Diamonds, he triumphed in the Asian Champions League. However, at the end of January 2024, the Pole left the team from the Land of the Rising Sun.

Currently, he is unemployed, although there is a good chance that he will return to work soon. There is only one question – where? According to information from “Meczyków”, the coach himself currently rules out returning to the coaching bench in the Ekstraklasa. There was also talk behind the scenes that he might receive a much different proposal from Lech Poznań – someone like the head of the entire sports department of Kolejorz. However, the club from the capital of Greater Poland denies that such an idea even exists.

There is a proposal for Maciej Skorża

It is also unlikely that he will take over the national team of our country, even if the Polish national team fails in the qualifying rounds for Euro 2024. A real disaster would have to happen in the play-offs for the Polish Football Association to thank Michał Probierz in the near future. Perhaps, however, the issue of Skorża's employment in the national team will come back when the head of the federation changes during the next elections. These will take place in 2025.

So where can the 52-year-old anchor? We read in “matchyki” that the most likely destination is the Middle East, and the coach has even received an offer from those parts of the world and is seriously considering it. This direction is not surprising, because over a decade ago he managed Ettifaq FC from Saudi Arabia, and in 2018-2020 he worked for the United Arab Emirates U-23 national team.
