The PGE Ekstraliga newcomer tempted Wiktor Przyjemski. “The proposal was top”

Wiktor Przyjemski is one of the most talented Polish speedway players, so it is not surprising that several top league clubs were fighting for him. So far, Przyjemski was only associated with Polonia Bydgoszcz, where he started in the top league, but he decided that it was worth taking a step forward. Therefore, he accepted the offer of the Polish champion from Lublin.

Falubaz courted Przyjemski

In the “Cabinet of the President” program hosted by Marcin Musiał, the sports director of Enea Falubaz Zielona Góra – Piotr Protasiewicz – admitted that his club did everything to employ Wiktor Przyjemski. The Zielona Góra team, as a newcomer of PGE Ekstraliga, has constructed a decent senior team, but the youth formation may be one of the weakest in the league. That's why the idea to bring in Przyjemski came up.

The 18-year-old was to receive a “top” offer from Falubaz, which probably even exceeded in some respects what the activists of Orlen Oil Motor Lublin offered the speedway rider.

– Falubaz's proposal was certainly the best in terms of contract terms. I don't want to go into details, because firstly I can't, and secondly, it defeats the purpose, today it's after the fact. As you can see, it is not the financial conditions alone that determine or we do not know about other non-contractual forms of assistance. His team decided that he would ride in Lublin and that's it – said Protasiewicz in the “President's Office”.

Protasiewicz does not see the tragedy

The legend of Polish speedway, and currently an activist of Falubaz, emphasizes that he is not wringing his hands after failing to bring the 18-year-old player to the club. All because he joined a team that has different goals than the Zielona Góra team. It would be worse if the former Polonia player moved to a team fighting – like Falubaz – for relegation.

Everything indicates that in the 2024 season, the basic youth pair of the newcomer will be Krzysztof Sadurski and Oskar Hurysz.
