The management board of WKS Czarni Radom SA decided to end cooperation with the first team coach, Paweł Woicki. A statement was posted on the club’s official website.
The current PlusLiga competition is not successful for Enea Czarni Radom. After 12 rounds, they are in last place in the table with only one victory. They only managed to defeat Norwid Częstochowa 3-0 in an away match, and the current set balance of Radom is 7:35. Therefore, the club’s authorities decided to take decisive steps.
Paweł Woicki fired from Enea Czarni Radom
The 2022/2023 season reflected the big problems of the Radom team, which was very close to relegation to the PlusLiga. A number of changes were made, starting with the president. Dariusz Fryszkowski was replaced by Paweł Zagumny. Several new players appeared in the team, e.g. Mateusz Kufka, Dominik Teklak, Wojciech Kraj, Nikola Meljanac and Wiktor Rajsner. The goal of such a revolution was to change the outcomes achieved by black people.
Paweł Woicki, who enjoyed the trust of the previous management of Radom, remained as the first coach. Due to the fact that the results did not change, Enea’s authorities decided to immediately dismiss the trainer. It has not been announced who will be his successor, but the official decision is to be made in the coming days. One of the candidates is to be Mariusz Sordyl.
“By decision of the Management Board of the WKS Czarni Radom SA Club, as of December 19, 2023, coach Paweł Woicki ceases to be the coach of the first team of Enea Czarni Radom. Coach, thank you for your commitment and work for our club. We wish you good luck in your further career. In the coming days, the Management Board of the WKS Czarni Radom SA Club will announce the name of the team’s new coach,” we read in the official statement of the Radom team. The next match the Radom team will play in front of their home crowd is against PGE Skra Bełchatów.
