Patryk Dudek intends to return to Zielona Góra. He only wonders about one thing

Patryk Dudek is a student of Falubaz Zielona Góra. He was associated with this club in 2009-2021. He experienced everything with him. He won the Polish Team Championship three times and became an international top player, but in the 2021 season came worse moments, which ended with relegation from the PGE Ekstraliga. Now the Zielona Góra team returns to the elite, and Dudek himself does not hide the fact that he would like to wear a Mickey Mouse plastron again.

Zielona Góra is in his heart

After leaving Falubaz, “Duzers” joined For Nature Solutions KS Apator Toruń. It so happens that only in the 2024 season will he have the opportunity to play against his previous team for the first time. In an interview with the official profile of the Polish Speedway National Team, he admitted that this would be the day when he would get emotional.

This is also related to the fact that the player intends to return to Zielona Góra in the future. He just wonders when it might happen.

– This season, riding against my team, where I spent practically my entire career, will be a great experience. I live there every day. I’m really curious how I’ll survive this. Zielona Góra is always in my heart. There is a plan to go back there. But when will it happen? It’s hard to say, Dudek added.

An important year for Patryk Dudek

It seems that the season of truth awaits the Apator player. The previous two years were not particularly successful for Dudek, and fluctuations in form are especially visible in the PGE Ekstraliga. For example, in the last competition he achieved an average of 1.783 points/run. He also dropped out of the Grand Prix series. However, there were also beautiful moments, such as the gold medal in the Team World Cup.

– Let’s hope it was just an accident at work. Speedway is changing, if I was always on top, I wouldn’t develop, and thanks to this, we are working hard with the boys now. We talked about the previous season and with good hopes, we will soon start the next one, Dudek emphasized.

Dudek’s future in Apator Toruń will depend mainly on the results this year. The club extended the contracts of Emil Sajfutdinow and Robert Lambert until the end of the 2025 season, but this did not happen in the case of Dudek. If Enea Falubaz Zielona Góra stays in the PGE Ekstraliga, it cannot be ruled out that the 31-year-old will move to this team for the next competition.
