New information about the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077. Game industry veterans join the creators
CD Projekt RED studio shared with the world new information about the continuation of its great hit – Cyberpunk 2077.

This title is currently available under a rather mysterious code name Project Orion. It is also known that the CD Projekt RED studio has been working on another highly anticipated game for several years now The Witcher 4. Poles, thanks to their many years of success in the computer games industry, can afford the luxury of implementing two large projects at the same time. The latest information from the CD Projekt RED camp concerns the second installment of the game set in the Cyberpunk 2077 universe.
Project Orion: industry veterans join the CDP RED lineup
From the information published by CD Projekt RED, we learned that a “new group of professionals from the gaming industry” has just joined the team creating Project Orion. However, no one should be surprised by the fact that the concept and development of the long-awaited sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 – in addition to the creators of the first part of the game – is also the responsibility of the people responsible for the Phantom of Freedom expansion, which was very warmly received by players and critics from all over the world.
These are: Gabriel Amatangelo (game director), Paweł Sasko (second director), Igor Sarzyński (creative director), Andrzej Stopa (director of stage design and direction), Kacper Niepokólczycki (artistic director for environment), Sarah Grümmer ( acting chief task designer) and Kacper Kościński (engineering director).
This team has now been joined by other experienced representatives of the computer games industry, who in the past had the opportunity to work on many well-known and recognized titles and series, such as: Diablo, Assassin’s Creed and Mortal Kombat. Here they are:

Dan Hernberg – executive producer. Previously he worked, among others, as head of production at Amazon Games, and his portfolio includes titles such as New World, Apex Legends and Diablo III

Ryan Barnard – Design Director. He is a former director at Massive Entertainment and Ubisoft, as well as a gameplay director at IO Interactive

Alan Villani – Director of Engineering. Previously worked as VP of Technology on numerous WB Games titles (including the Mortal Kombat series)

Anna Megill – main writer. The developer has over twenty years of experience writing for video games, and her portfolio includes titles such as Control, Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Guild Wars 2 and the upcoming game from the Fable series

Alexander Freed – writer. He worked as a lead writer at BioWare, among others. with the game Star Wars: The Old Republic. He also collaborated with studios such as DICE, Obsidian Entertainment, Wizards of the Coast and FoxNext

At the same time, CD Projekt RED reminded that it is still looking for new employees for various positions in its branches located in Boston and Vancouver. The point, of course, is to ensure that the next months and years of work on the second part of Cyberpunk 2077 proceed as smoothly as possible, which is currently still at a very early stage of production.
