A change in the approach of the Senate Chancellery. They didn’t want to reveal it before
For example, for months, journalists could not learn about the awards and bonuses of the employees of the Senate Chancellery in 2021. Inquiries concerned the then management of CIS, i.e. Maciej Berek, Jakub Stefaniak and Anna Godzwon, as well as Małgorzata Daszczyk, one of Tomasz Grodzki’s closest collaborators, who worked as director Marshal’s office.
Berek, former head of the Senate Information Center, intervened himself to ensure that the upper house revealed his awards. Thanks to this, it turned out that last year he collected almost PLN 27,000. zloty. However, it was not possible to learn the amount of awards for other officials. The Senate Chancellery initially asked for an extension of the response deadline, but then assessed that this was not public information.
