Frostpunk 2 has a release date. The whole world is waiting for this Polish game

Frostpunk 2 is a direct continuation of one of the best strategy games of recent years, released for PC and Mac computers, as well as PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. The production of the Polish 11 bit studios is currently one of the most anticipated computer games. During the Xbox Partner Preview event, its release date was revealed, thanks to which we learned that we will play the continuation of the cult Frostpunk in mid-summer this year.

Frostpunk 2 release date

Frostpunk 2 will debut on July 25, 2024, first of all only in the version for personal computers. Owners of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X consoles will also receive their version, but its premiere will take place a little later (it is not yet known when exactly).

The price of the game was set at PLN 159 (for the basic version). However, we already know that Frostpunk 2 will also be available as part of the GamePass subscription from day one.

Frozen New London 30 years later

In Frostpunk 2, we will once again play the role of a city manager in a world covered in ice, and the sequel will take place thirty years after the events of the original. We will once again go to frosty New London, one of the last bastions of humanity, to build infrastructure, gather resources, fight enemies and simply try to survive in these extremely unfavorable circumstances.

Players' hopes and expectations for Frostpunk 2 are so high for a reason. Suffice it to mention that on the Metacritic platform, which calculates the average of all ratings given to a given game by the largest industry portals and the players themselves, the first Frostpunk from 2018 scored 84 points out of 100, and the average of the ratings given to it by over a thousand players is currently 8. 4. This is a very good result, placing the game by Polish creators from 11 bit studios among the best-rated games of recent years.
