The first round of the 2024 local elections is behind us, now we only need to wait for their official results. Until there is no final data from the National Electoral Commission (PKW) regarding the local council elections, we can only rely on the exit poll conducted by Ipsos. It shows that Law and Justice received the greatest support nationwide (33.7%), slightly ahead of the Civic Coalition (31.9%). Just like in the last parliamentary elections, Third Droga closes the podium. 13.5% of voters voted for the Polish People's Party-Poland 2050 coalition. voters. A surprise may be the fourth place of the Confederation (7.5%) and only the fifth place of the Left (6.8%). Other electoral committees in the elections to provincial assemblies obtained a total of almost 4%. votes.

If the result of yesterday's elections depended on the owners and co-owners of companies, the Civic Coalition would win, with support in this group at the level of 39.5%. Directors, managers, specialists (39.1%) and administration or service employees (31.8%) were also most likely to vote for the coalition led by Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

PiS, however, turned out to be the clear winner when it comes to support among farmers. The survey shows that in this group, Jarosław Kaczyński's party won as much as 57.3 percent. votes, while Third Road only 15.1%, and only every tenth respondent voted for the Civic Coalition.

PiS also among workers (44.5%) and pensioners (42.6%). The unemployed were also the most likely to vote for the party that was in power until recently (42.5%).
