All Saints’ Day 2023. Are restaurants open on November 1?

November 1 is a public holiday. Universities, schools and kindergartens are closed on All Saints’ Day. We also cannot go shopping because large shopping malls, centers and discount stores are closed. Can you go out to a cafe or restaurant on November 1? It depends.

Will we go to a restaurant on All Saints’ Day?

The restriction on trading on public holidays mainly applies to retail outlets. This means that cafes and restaurants can be open. The decision whether the premises will accept customers on a holiday is always made by the owner of the restaurant or other catering establishment. So before we go out for dinner, it is worth checking the website of your favorite restaurant or calling the place to check if it will be open.

Are fast food places open on November 1?
