Alfred Hitchcock’s house for sale. Check out these interiors!
The house in Bel Air, a district of Los Angeles, where Alfred Hitchcock lived until his death, is up for sale. Thanks to this, we can see the interior of the director’s estate.
Alfred Hitchcock moved with his family to Los Angeles in 1939. When he received his first Oscar nomination for the film “Rebecca”, he lived with his wife Alma and daughter Pat in a rented apartment on Wilshire Boulevard. As his success grew, the family decided to move to a slightly more comfortable place. This is what the estate in Bel Air remained until the director’s death.
Earlier this year, the house that once belonged to one of the world’s most famous directors was put up for sale for $8.25 million. However, there were so many people interested that the agency raised the price to $8.8 million.
The Hitchcock Sanctuary was extensively renovated and expanded in 1983. Inside, a fireplace and wooden ceiling beams add to the atmosphere. The property has four bedrooms and five bathrooms.
