A surprising result for Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. He clearly lost to an anonymous PiS MP
The official election results brought calm to the electoral duels. There were a few surprises. One of them was the result of Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, who received over PLN 20,000. fewer votes than Anna Pieczarka, unknown on the national political scene.
The official results of the 2023 elections are already known. There were many interesting clashes and interesting results on the lists. Donald Tusk received the most votes – 538,634. The PO chairman not only defeated the “number one” PiS of Piotr Gliński (135,339 votes) and Confederation of Sławomir Mentzen (101,269), but also obtained a better result than the entire list of Law and Justice – 345,380, or any other.
Tusk did not have to compete with Jarosław Kaczyński, because he moved to the Świętokrzyskie district, where he obtained 177,228 votes. The leader of the United Right, like the head of the Civic Platform, also turned out to be better than the entire list of the most dangerous political opponent. PO won 137,941 votes. These were not the only such examples. Adam Szłapka from KO in the Poznań district collected more votes – 149,064 – than the entire PiS – 116,666.
Elections 2023. Government spokesman and former PO spokesman with worse results
In the district covering Gdynia and Słupsk, Barbara Nowacka (139,524 votes) easily defeated government spokesman Piotr Mueller (72,813). In turn, in the Warsaw district, the head of the Ministry of National Defense, Mariusz Błaszczak (127,578 votes), defeated the former spokesman of the Civic Platform, Jan Grabiec (71,534 votes). PO’s politics was overtaken by the “two” from this list, Kinga Gajewska – 85,283 votes.
In the Krakow district, Małgorzata Wassermann (125,786 votes) turned out to be unrivaled, defeating Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz (95,873 votes). In Lublin, Przemysław Czarnek (121,686 votes) turned out to be better than Marta Wcisło (68,449 votes). In Katowice, Mateusz Morawiecki (117,064 votes) overtook Borys Budka (101,258 votes).
Election results 2023. One of the most even fights. Failures of Kukiz, Kołodziejczak and Macierewicz
In Gdańsk, Kacper Płażyński won more votes – 100,445 – than Agnieszka Pomaska - 83,590, and in Rzeszów, Zbigniew Ziobro (74,592 votes) overtook Paweł Kowal (63,534 votes) in a fierce duel. In turn, in the Opole district, Tomasz Siemoniak (46,223 votes) slightly overtook Paweł Kukiz (43,292 votes). Another close duel took place in Konin, where Zbigniew Hoffmann (47,594 votes) won against Michał Kołodziejczak (44,062 votes).
In Piotrków, Bogusław Wołoszański (35,202 votes) was the winner in the clash with Antoni Macierewicz (32,496 votes). Robert Telus (49,262 votes) turned out to be better than both of them. The result of Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz (50,139 votes) is a surprise, as he lost in Tarnów to Anna Pieczarka from PiS (71,199 votes). Another leader of the Third Way, Szymon Hołownia (79,951 votes) defeated Jacek Sasin (59,490 votes).
A shocking result of the Left councilor. The best result in the district from the last place
Everyone was surprised by Łukasz Litewka (40,579), who in the district covering Zagłębie Dąbrowskie not only defeated one of the leaders of the Left, Włodzimierz Czarzasty (22,332), but also PiS’s number one Ewa Malik (39,498 votes) and KO’s number one and two, Wojciech Saługa and Barbara Dolniak, 28,781 and 37,470 votes, respectively.
